Removal of iso(4) from GENERIC kernels
(too old to reply)

Hi,

Unless there are any objections I'd like to remove "options ISO,TPIP"
from all GENERIC kernels across all architectures. This would be
initially done in HEAD and then through pullups to all current branches
(netbsd-2*, netbsd-3* and netbsd-4).

Although at one point in time there may have been a need to have this
functionality in the GENERIC kernels I'm not convinced it's still needed
in the majority of cases. This code has recently had some security
issues and appears to have sat dormant for quite a while.

regards,

adrian.

Yes, please. But make sure the option is present in all the "ALL" kernels.

Kind regards
