hi,

does anyone object if i merge yamt-lazymbuf branch?
it's what was disscussed on the "mbuf external storage sharing"
thread on tech-net in 2004-2005.

jonathan, i think i solved most of problems that you've pointed out.
can you tell me if you still see any problems?

hi,

i dropped the most of controversial and/or incomplete parts of
the branch and updated the description in doc/BRANCHES.

unless anyone objects, i'll merge it in a week or so.
